Amy Wegener
I have reinvented my own career several times, building new departments, functions and products over nearly three decades. With that, I have the credentials and experience to help leaders with strategic planning, leadership, career challenges and opportunities. My background, combined with my no-nonsense approach (balanced by a good sense of humor), enables me to fearlessly help my clients tackle whatever comes their way in evolving workplaces and organizations.
I am fueled by a belief that achieving big, long-term goals is fun and achievable with the right plan and some discipline. Helping leaders—wherever they are in their journey—with their goals, their next big thing, the need to innovate, call to create, and the demand for results that comes with leadership, brings me great satisfaction.

Testimonials
“As a senior leader in my organization, I often struggle to find professional allies who can help me clear those especially intimidating hurdles. Amy is that ally for me. Amy has an innate ability to help me clear the fog that sometimes clouds effective decision making. She has been an invaluable advisor, coach, and teacher throughout the most meaningful stages of my professional journey.”
-Dani Paxson, Regional Manager Central at Holmes NZ
“Amy gets you back on track, thinking beyond any assumed obstacles, developing solutions—focused on the things vital to you, your future, and your success. Her experience is obvious from the very first conversation: she works with you to look ahead to consider possible transitions, long term strategies, nascent opportunities. Her constructive feedback is always clear, supportive, and customized to your situation and your requirements.”
-Carla Casilli, Senior Manager, Program Management at Wikimedia Foundation
“Amy is not just a sounding board but someone who will strategize with you and hold your feet to the fire. I appreciated her maturity, professionalism, flexibility and creative problem-solving. Highly recommended—especially for seasoned leaders who want to talk to someone who has managed and built teams.”
-Ronit Avni, Technology and media entrepreneur, workforce development and higher education leader, Chief Executive Officer of Localized
“Amy is a rare find. Too many coaches go through the training and that’s it. She started from the bottom of her organization, rose to leadership, and has stories from every stage along the way. I’ve been able to tackle difficult strategic projects and organizational redesigns, thanks to Amy’s coaching. She’s the real deal!”
-Brian Sakansky, Business Development & Strategy Lead, Flipboard
"What sets Amy apart is the candid feedback based on her own experience as an executive. As a professional coach, she goes above and beyond to create a safe and trusting environment where meaningful conversations can take place. Amy’s experience as a C-level leader has been particularly valuable to me. Her firsthand knowledge of leading teams through change and addressing complex organizational challenges results in practical guidance and a 360 perspective, particularly for executives who are challenging the status quo, personally and professionally.”
-Ali Shahidi, Managing Director for Knowledge Management, O'Melveny & Myers
“Amy gets it. She’s the perfect coach for anyone who would benefit from a quick study, an honest planning partner and... a little kick in the derriere. I have worked with Amy both as a senior leader at a large global organization and as one of her coaching clients. Amy always tells it like it is, which helped me immensely in both relationships. I didn’t have time for anything but the truth while juggling the numerous responsibilities I handled at a big global law firm or while working as an executive at a crypto start up while crypto was in crisis. Amy always has had a way of asking provocative questions, putting together killer plans, seeing around corners and helping people and organizations achieve their goals. This combination made her an accomplished executive. It now means she is a highly effective coach.”
-Arielle LaPiano, Chief Communications Officer and Communications Coach
“Amy is a phenomenal leader with a deep understanding of how to pull the best out of people. She has an innate understanding of success drivers and where they intersect with helping people reach their full potential. Her work is extraordinary.”
-Shade Vaughn, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP

-Jennifer Laratonda, J.D., Attorney, Chief Administrative and Legal Officer, Lecturer of Law
“I was fortunate to get connected with Amy at just the right moment as I was exiting the company I founded and looking to transition to a role in venture capital. My conversations with Amy helped me stay on track with my goals and she provided candid feedback based on her own personal experience. She was easy to talk to, which allowed me to be my full self and further clarify the thoughts and ideas I had about what I wanted in my next chapter. I’m now almost a year into my role at a firm I love and Amy deservedly gets some credit for it! I’ve already referred others to her.”
